Title Explains It all. I just had a SBC put in about 4 months ago. When I push in on the clutch I get a thumping noise under my foot what could it be I can't drown it out with the radio any more

Does it only do it one time? Could also be the tranny mount.

Could be a couple things....

sometimes the plastic bushing wears out on the pushrod that attatches to the pedal...

sometimes the weld breaks behind the pedal.....

sometimes the pedal gets a groove wher the spring rides...

sometimes the rivit that holds the pedal together (where it pivots) wears out...

I follow what you are saying as far as the bump goes Marc but none of those would contribute to the continued noise while the clutch is depressed.
