Hey, I live in nj, and I work in construction so I need a diesel truck to towe my trailer and my 05 f150 isnt cutting it. I love the truck but doesn't have the power I need. So I went to the dealer today and there was a xlt f250 diesel with 8ft bed for 50k the sales man said he could bring it down to 46 after rebaits ect, but I'm unsure if I should just go for a 2013 fx4 like I want or get a better price with the truck on the lot. What are your personal options on the 2012 and the 2013?
Not sure how it works in NJ...but you can get $11-14K off MSRP in Texas all day long...buy the truck you want...assuming you'll be married to it for several years! Good luck...can't help you with tuning...I'm bone stock less the 3/4" plywood sheet laying in the bed!
13s are slowly coming on to the tuner market its hard to do ford put a new pcm in the 13s so if ur wanting to delete i would go ahead and get a 12 there is tons of (left over) new 2012s on the lots . and yes seems like every else these trucks are going for top dollar u can get a fully loaded kr here in tc for like 53gs
