Anybody seen these on Ebay? Diesel_West is the seller. Can't figure out how to post a link, but they sound too good to be true. They do have a lot of good feedback though....
Just wondering if anybody has seen or used it?

I think that is a glorified 10k or 18k mod. If you know how to do the mod yourself I think it only cost around 10$. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in and let you know.

DFUSER is up about 40 miles north of me. I'm heading up there today after work to talk to Bill about some of his products. He was real cool over the phone and I'm looking at getting the 18K+ Power Module (85hp/120lbft) as well as a few other doo-dads to make my truck a little bit more ballsy.

I live in Buda, but work at a hot rod & custom shop down on S. Lamar.

DFuser is in Georgetown, I'll be up there this evening, and hopefully will be coming home with some more power :burnout

He's an online store, but he said I could stop by and talk with him in person.
check out www.dfuser.com for his info.

I went on their site too, but didn't realize they were around here. I'm 50 miles south of San Antonio, but go to Austin every couple of months. Gonna have to make a trip myself.
Suicideaxles, please let us know how you like their stuff when you get it hooked up.

Picked my 18k+ Module up from DFuser.com earlier tonight. He was real helpful and knew ALOT about these trucks. I wanted to hook the module up when I got home, but it was too late already, so I'll hopefully get around to it tomorrow at the shop. I'll post some results:gun:

Still haven't installed it. Been looking up info on other mods to come. I told myself I wouldn't modify this truck like I did on my Dodge Cummins, but the bug bit me again and it's on.:poster:

I'll be scouring salvage yards for 99+ Injectors, Turbocharger, Pedestal, Intercooler etc. Probably get a Jody Tipton DP Tune on the ECM. 4" Exhaust & Custom Tymar-style intake setup. Aside from probably needing a clutch after those mods, I think that will be it...but then again, you never know. Maybe I shouldn't go that far with it and see how long this PSD lasts. I do know for sure if this motor goes south, a Cummins 5.9 will be taking it's place.

Holy Cow!

Talk about waking up a stock truck! I installed the DFuser 18k+ Power Module today after work. It took longer for me to decide on a good location to mount the adjustable dial then it did to install the entire setup!!!

I started on it's lowest setting, with no change in performance...or very little if any. I turned around to head back to the shop and turned the dial up about halfway and the truck came alive. I hit 80mph in the same amount to space as where I would normally hit around 65mph or so. Impressive.:drive:

Back at the shop, I decided to try and break the tires loose by side-stepping the clutch at about 2,500rpm. The truck boiled the tires and smoked them immediately. :burnout Normally the truck would bark them once and then bog down before picking up speed.

So on the way home I played with the dial a few times and kept it pretty mild. Right down the street from my house I put it at full power and nailed it. The engine bogged hard and felt like it turned itself off. As I slowly turned the dial counter-clockwise while still mashing the pedal, the truck started to come alive and had a signifigant increase in power. I backed the dial just a hair and went on home. When I got home I used a small permanent marker and marked where the dial was facing so I won't put it further if I ever mess with it.

All I can say is...for under $100 and about 30 minutes to install it (taking my time, being anal about everything) this is a very good product.

Bill at DFuser says the 94-97 trucks should see around 45hp or so, and the 99+ trucks make the advertised 85hp increase. I can't imagine how it would feel if my truck was a 99+ with the bigger injectors, turbo, and intercooler.

BIG THUMBS UP TO DFUSER :hail: !!!

Mine did that with the potentiometer.

Probably something similar.

I haven't had it set all the way at idle. Don't really see a reason to since it doesnt run worth a darn with it set that high anyway.:poke

I'll snap some pics tomorrow and post them up.:bluewink:

If you want to add power go straight for a wildman chip, totaldieselperformance.com

That way you won't have to worry about trying to sell the icp fooler later. good luck
