Got it today and was all pumped to get it put it, and it is a POS. The mounting holes were drilled out crooked and the metal was literally paper thin. Holes lookied like they were drilled about a 1/4" in the wrong spots as well. On the inside they forgot to polish it all so half of it was still rough. A chunk of metal where the wastegate mounts was missing. Man I tell ya what for 410 bones you would think ATS would have there SH!T RIGHT. Its going to get figured out buy the vendor I bought it from so thats good. Im not sure if I even want to deal with their product anymore, but they are the only ones who make this part.

well got the install done...cfm works, dropped egts alot and the ats housing is sweet too...it whistles at high rpms only but nothing annoying and i like it. fixed surge so far 100 percent, only thing that sucked is spending the 400 bucks on cfm intake manifold and i didnt fit worth a crap....i did some cutting and filing to get it to work..very dissapointed in that. but whatever made it work and everything works good. its definately pushing more boost as well...blown the intercooler boot twice so far when i turn the dp up an romp on it. does fine the rest of the time. never used to be able to. not bad though. the housings worth the money. cfm? ehh

Are these ats housings really junk?

Aftermarket parts can be sketchy sometimes. For me, being fairly new to owning a powerstroke I'm a little wary to what I put on it. I've read good and bad things about these ats housings. Has anyone experienced any damaging results? IDK how old this thread is, I just signed up and I'm learning how to post my own threads that will get replys.
Thanks for reading anyhow...
