Ok my buddys 08 f450 got cavitation behind the water pump. He is installing a new front cover and going to do studs now as well. Now what is the best way to get all the coolant out of the oil?? When we took the valve covers off there was some thick sludge under there. Thanks

I guess the best way would be to put some good oil and run it for a thousand miles or so and then change it again. Possible look at some ar2300 from archoil to clean out the system.

Look into arch oil like 04hd said or go but some cheaper diesel oil and run it for couple hundred miles the change it again with the cheap stuff for couple hundred then third time change it to your regular oil. Change filter each time. This is just what I would do

Same exact thing happened to me. I used the Gunk motor flush and it worked great.

1. Try to get as much of the poopy oil out as possible. I let it drain for a few hours.
2. Put fresh new oil in and add 2 bottles of gunk motor flush.
3. Start it up and let it idle for 5 min.
4. Drain and put fresh oil in.
5. Drive it for maybe a 1000 miles or so then do another oil change.

It did a real good job when I used it.
