I have one on my 6.7 and haven't had a problem when I take it to the dealership, but all dealerships are different. Just make sure if you install one you put a water resistant cover over the filter and clean and re-oil it when needed. That way you never have to worry about any foreign substance getting into the motor! :thumb:
My experience has led me to believe it is all up to the dealer and with any diesel 98% of them will claim water in fuel. No matter stock or modded. Just my experience.
Ok thanks guys. All i really wanted was the sound . The stock performance is more than enough for me at this point .. Ill contact my dealer and see what they have to say
I left my afe on when it went in for warranty and they didn't say anything. I asked one of the techs there, do I really need to take my intake off. I under stand tuner and all that and he said no big deal. But they take 30 min to swap so if I were you I would get one and just swap the stock one on there if you ever have issues.
