Hey guys my starter is on it's way out and i am looking at either Mitsubishi or a Denso starter. I've called a rebuilder and he recommended Mitsubishi and people on hete recommend Denso high torque. Which lasts longer and cranks better? Thank you for any advice and please tell me your personal stories with either brand!
Are you dead sure both of your batteries are in really good shape? If you aren't sure, get them tested by someone who knows how and has the right equipment. I ran my truck for half a year before I found out a single cell in one of the batteries was dead. The truck still started somewhat ok, but nothing like after I replaced both batts with new Interstates.
Yes i've had both tested and they are both in great shape. I think its my starter because i can hear the click and yet no power goes to turn it over. Either the solenoid is crap or it's the fact that its a db starter
