I recently had #3 injector faulting causing codes so I tore passenger side down to replace that injector yesterday and found both injector #3 and #1 missing the nut to the little bolt that holds spool valve assembly together and the red power wire broke at top of molded spool valve electrical part. So I swapped in 2 injectors off the spare 6.0 motor I bought for backup, engine is of course used and don't know the history about it, so really no idea about the injector condition, but they looked ok, and I put new o-rings/coppers on them. While I was in there decided to swap in 4 new motorcraft glow plugs because 3 of them(off brands) were faulted out, and unfortuanately managed to break the glow plug harness at #7 plug, oops... while putting truck back together I noticed the coolant overflow was a little low, so topped it off... the first time I tried to fire up truck the engine stopped turning over mid crank as if something was physically lodged somewhere, but the next time I cranked it, it fired right up... immediately got an unbelievable amount of white smoke out the exhaust and a weird idle sound that eventually seemed to smooth out, so I just assumed it was something to do with the used injectors having sat so long... well after about 10 minute drive and 10 minute idle time, it just smokes a little under half or more throttle now, pure white in color...
WHAT THE HECK COULD BE WRONG???
