My clutch seems to have had better days. I've been looking at South Bend clutches but am not sure which one to go with.

What do you guys think about the MU 1939 DF (4-paddle design)? 6 Speed HD Conversion Disk w/ceramic Are there any other parts that you would recommend I change out while I am in there? I see they have the option for an updated clutch fork and pivot.

I don't know if your truck needs the updated fork or not. Mine did but I think Ford changed them at some point. Definitely get a kevlar pilot bushing. I see a lot of good things said about the South Bend clutches. I have a LUK and am pleased.

I see that it comes with the kevlar pilot bushing.

I'm def. open to suggestions. I'm fairly new to my stroke and am basing my decision on what I read (mainly from this great site) and hear.

I don't need an extreme "High Performance" clutch but I do want one that I can beat on every once in awhile and tow with confidence. I don't ever see myself going over 350-400 RWHP.

Im assuming with these clutches I can just have the flywheel resurfaced?
