Ok guys, I got a letter in the ole snail mail yesterday with a recall notice stamped on it.
After opening and reading it I am ticked off!
It simply said to bring my vehicle to a particular dealer to preform a "Ford safety recall".
But oh wait....While its there, we can perform a basic checkup for a cool$29.99, yada yada yada....
I have received REAL recall notices in the past and they generally have the vehicle's vin and a recall number.
This devious advertizing campaign really erks me to no avail. That is like entrapment and false advertizing, better wording escapes me at the moment.
