Hi, maybe you can help me, I've tried the 'contact' button at the bottom of the pages and the email addresses that I've found, and ALL have come back as undeliverable. BEFORE my paid subscription expired, I tried to downgrade to the free membership because I'm not using to forums much and my truck is too expensive to repair. It's pretty much ruined my life because I never expected to have a major repair at 129k miles. The truck bankrupted me, there was always something costly to repair. I'm a totally disabled vet and have a limited income. Anyways, not your problem, but I am now continuously receiving payment failure notices, and would like those to stop. Whatever you can do there would be appreciated. Thank you and have a good week,

    Ken Russell

yea, I grew up in Greene county, moved to Bloomington at 9 yrs old till I graduated from South and moved up here. We've only owned this truck since Jan. '12, and we are on the verge of getting rid of it after dropping $25K in new trans and now engine. I tried to bulletproof everything I could on this thing and now broke again. guess I'll dive into it when I get back in town.

A lot of postings, so I figured I'd send you that part number.

Sunrise Ford is one of the forum sponsors. Your price is $104.77, and as you go through checkout, watch for where to enter the promo code. Type DIESEL in it, and there's $10.oo off! $94.77 and free shipping. What a deal, came with the boots! Didn't expect that, nor the 3 clamps, so no complaints here!

do you have a means of diagnosing a misfire at idle and with the cruise control on?…I am using a matco tool to monitor data, but I am really stumped, afraid to drive the truck because I don't want to have to tow it back home…2005

Man, I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. I had never seen it before or at least hadn't paid attention. I'll delete that post.

    Thx Doug,
I may see if I can find something in a salvage yard to replace the broken housing.

I am going to grease the gears in the hubs as a precautionary measure, I have found out how to do this.

In regards to a sealed unit (no bearings to grease)I found this link. It may not apply to my 04 but thought it was interesting. I am any issues that I want to dig in this deep but thought it was good information: Welcome to guzzle's 4x4 Needle Bearing Maintenance Web Page

I upgraded the fuel pressure spring kit this past weekend and if it ever stops raining, want to replace the fuel banjo bolts. My brother brought me some strap steel this weekend so am in the process of building a coolant filter bracket.

Hope all is well with you. Rick
