Ok, How can I mount my Warn 6" round lights to the front other than with a full brush guard (like I currently have). I'm guessing a bull bar is the next option, but I'm worried a bull bar will block the use of my factory Fog lights which I really like. Ideas?
My buddies have them mounted behind the grille. I think it looks good, but I'm personally not a fan of doing it to mine. I like the light bar that jostaman posted. THAT IS THE TICKET!!! Thanks jostaman! I won'thave 4 lights... just 2
Thats a nice bar alright, but a tad expensive and it isn't even chromed Most of the light bars are to large, in your face looking and this one is fuctional and looks like it belongs there. Now I can't decide which way to go againhnoes:
I got a bender but the end part that is flattened then rolled over may require a brake. But you know, you are right, I can make one with a bender, torch, a grinder and a little tig'in, then take it to the chrome shop. Will likely cost about ....less than twenty bucks for everything and several hours of work fitting it to get the demensions right. Thats what kills you the fitting, not the building. Chrome would be better don't you think? I have been thinking of making a simple light bar that is strong and blends in. Question, if you made one would it be like this one or would it be different? And if different how would you change the design?
Love that pix. Twenty years ago a friend towed my Searay behind his bayliner and I took a pix of it and gave him a copy and to this day he is always pulling out that picture to laugh at the Searay being pulled by the cheap little bayliner.<smile> Your SD towing the Dodge reminds of that pix
I bought this bar spring 05, its been through 2 winters of ice, snow, mud and rock roads. (6+ months long) It does not have any chips or blems in the powder coating and is trouble free. I am posting because I looked 6 months for something simple. When I Found this style KC had it in Black powder coat for $379, this one in Candy Silver powder coat was $179 + $40 to FEDEX it to Alaska. Hope it helps...
