It looks like we have a fuel leak in the fuel filter canister housing. It has been very hard starting when its warm but starts fine when its cold. Any one have any experience or know where to get a part for it? Any install tips would be appreciated as well. Thanks:dunno:
I had a hole in my housing (could have been because I had never thought to change Filter in 210k miles on my 97 superduty) Took it off and had it welded for $10.00 and got a $10.00 job. It seeps fuel at the weld overlap. Now about every week I have to start it with starting Fluid. I just can't seem to get all the air out. This has been going on for 3 weeks now.
JB WELD is great stuff for that kind of thing.:woot:
