I had a 5" on my 2000 f350 and loved the sound. Looked badass with the 6" tip! I still have'nt made up my mind on my new truck. May go with 4" because they are cheaper.
The mbrp 4" off road is the one that i want because it has the cat delete pipe. I found out that it has only a 3.5" downpipe. Why is that? Is that how most 4" systems are? you think it would a 4" down pipe. If anybody has info on this please let me know im bambozled haha. thanks.
On alot of systems you will find 3.5 inch is way easer to install and very little difference in power then 4 inch down pipe but if your paying to have it installed go with 4inch down pipe
I've a 2003 f-350 dually with a 7.3 and I purchased one of those new edge evoloutions with the three stages. I don't how hard it is to install. I know little bit about them but I'm more mechanical guy then electronics. I also want to put a turbo back exhaust. But i need the fuelmilage and power.
OK, we are talking about two different exhaust. On a 7.3 superduty 99.5+, you can get a 4" DP in there very easy. It is not so easy on a 6.0L. Most all of the exhaust for the 6.0 are a 3.5" DP that do into a 4" or 5" out the back. There is just not the room with a 6.0 that there is with a 7.3. I don't know why, and it does not really make sense. That is just the way it is with the two different setups.
what is the biggest size down pipe they make for the 6.0l psd
