Ok so here's the deal I want to know what is the best fuel mileage you see out of your 6.0l Powerstroke. These are the details I want to know about your truck when you post your mileage. Also make sure you are hand calculating and correcting for tire size before posting your mileage here.

Year, Make, Model, Cab configuration, Trans, Gears, 4x4 or 4x2, driving style (Spirited, economical, drive it like you stole it... etc.) type of driving (all highway, mixed, city, etc.) Injectors, Turbo, Tune, Suspension Mods, Bed cover or not, Tires and Rim Sizes, Odometer mileage and any other modifications such as EGR delete or ported intake manifold or whatever else may add or take away from your fuel economy and finally what the best mileage you have seen out of your truck and the average economy.

I'll start....

2005 Ford F250 Crew Cab Short Bed, Torqshift 5r110, 3:73 Gears, 4x4, mostly conservative driving but do have some occasional runs to 100+ MPH, 99% mixed driving which is mostly state routes and city driving with minimal highway driving.

Warren Diesel 175/ stock nozzle injectors, stock charger, Vivian's Looney Wild Track file written for my 175's, 6" Pro Comp Suspension lift, Fiberglass Tonneau cover, 275/65r20 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 136,000 miles on the truck. EGR delete, Ported Rockers and truck is studded. The best mileage I have seen out of my truck is 19.53 MPG hand calculated based on GPS trip mileage and the average since I have gotten done with studs and gaskets etc has all been in between 19.22 - 19.53 MPG.

Let's see what you got.

Mods are in sig, 4wd with 4.10 gears, stock tire/rim at 70psi. Tires are Cooper AT/3 load range E.

Mixed driving (city/hy-way), heavy foot. Average 16-17mpg. All hy-way average 17-18mpg.

PCM startegy VXAP2N2. Running SRL++ with Atlas 80 FICM tune.

It's been awhile since I ran any of my other SCT race tunes.

i get ~20mpg hand calculated when driving highway, when im in the city or at work idleing a lot i dont calculate cause i dont care. my theory to good mileage is doing frequent burnouts to allow smoothest tires possible for less friction on the road ;)

These mileage threads always kill me. Would love to know how all these people are able to get 180% of my mileage when they have the exact same mods.

But to answer the question I have seen a best of 15.3 on the interstate. My average is right at 13-13.5 depending on time of the year. Maybe if I lift my truck 2 more inches and put on bigger tires I'll be able to get 19.53 mpg. HA!

And just to be clear my truck used to always get terrible fuel mileage. For instance before I did my studs, gaskets and everything else in my build thread (link in my signature) the best fuel mileage I EVER saw out of my truck was 16.5 mpg and that was 100% highway driving on my way to florida for vacation. After I did injectors, studs, gaskets, rockers, BPD FICM. I am not seeing on a regular basis of over 19 mpg.

2005 F250 Short Bed Crew Cab 4x4 3:73 gears. 4" turbo back MBRP exhaust no kitty no muff 285x75x17 Nitto A/T tires. Automatic Trans. 130,000 miles. Everything else is bone stock. Average mileage is 12.8-13.7 hand calc. Thats about a 50/50 mix of freeway and city. The best I ever got was around 16.4. And I drive like a normal person...

Early '04 F250 CC/SB 4x4 3.73 gears, stock tire size Yokahama Geolanders, only perf mods are 4" MBRP Straight pipe and S&B intake. Best tank was 19mpg hand calc mix 50/50 driving, normal is 15-16mpg mix driving or 13-14mpg around town. I drive pretty average with the occasional lead foot. I don't do a lot of towing currently so nothing to report for that.

If I'm driving a tank 90% on the highway ill see 850+ kms (yes I'm Canadian) and that's for 104 litres you do the math, saw 900+ a few times

It is a bad joke 95% of the world uses metric yet Americans refuse to give into the much easier and more accurate system of measuring...

No thanks I'll stick with my standard units of measurement. I'll also stick with my $3-$4/gallon for diesel fuel (wish it was lower) instead of your $1-$3/litre of diesel fuel.

but its a funny bad joke.:D supercab long bed manual 4x4 with a cap best i got was 19.5 70% highway after egr delete 15-16 with 70% city
pretty avg driving except for some days my right foot feels like a brick

Well you guys did make google. If you take 850/100 (rounded) giving you 8.5km/liter then just google that in mpg (it does the conversion for you), you get 19.93 mpg, I also don't drive like a grandma either frequently at speeds of 75-80 mph( for you "lazy Americans") and I punch it to see full boost when passing vehicles on single lane roads

Since reading this i just went out for a drive for a few miles doing 50/50 highway city i couldnt even keep the dash at anything close to 17-19 even with coasting as soon as i even slightly accelerate on the highway it would drop to 15-16. On the street babying it i could barely keep it over 13 and god forbid you accelerate coming from a stop it would drop to 10-11

Listen, I live out past the suburbs in a town called Carrollton maybe a population of 5000 or so. The city's are around 25-30 miles away from me and the only way to get to them and the highways that connect them is through either city streets, back country county roads or state routes that are usually 55 mph speed limits. That said if I drive conservatively (not like grandpa on Sunday morning after church) but say 5 over the speed limits and easy take offs as well as rolling to stops instead of throttle all the way until the last 100 feet than hitting the brakes, I can easily get 19 mpg out of my truck on a regular basis and that is also with a "few" spirited sprints to between 80 and 100+ mph. But mostly I don't beat on it I just drive normal and let it do it's thing.

I also let the truck warm up to over 100* EOT before pulling out of the driveway and leave earlier than I need to so I don't have to rush in high traffic and it allows me to just cruise to my destination.

This isn't a Canada vs America thread(but Canada is better and if you had ever ventured up here you would know that. The pure fact of enjoyment I get just sitting in an American shopping center with a coffee and just watching all the fat people walk buy really is worth travelling down there for me) I don't know where you are getting your facts from Bryan but I have paid under or close to a $1 per litre for diesel for since I can remember (btw that's about $3.60 a gallon after you factor in how our dollar is worth more, last time I was down to Washington it was $4.40 a gallon...), yes states fuel is cheaper in some states but if we sold it to you guys for any more then your country would really go broke. I'm not trying to bash 'Merica cause I do think "it's the best god damn country on earth" but the way you guys do some things is just for lack of a better word complicated.

Back to mpg topic I know everyone says bigger tires = worse "economy" (for guy who called it kilometerage, mileage is another American term) but I really think if a guys running 35s or 37s on stock gearing with close to stock height it should In all indications of physics result in lower fuel consumption at a constant speed because of the fact that your motors rpms would have dropped. Now your gonna say what about weight well I just switched my 16" stockers for 20s and the 20s are substantially lighter. There has to be a point where the weight of the tire/rim combo will tip the scales the opposite way but I believe with 35s your only going to gain the so called "mileage"

Steve I've been to Canada many times and I have to say its personal preference and I prefer the states. Back on topic. Also I have seen just recently someone paying upwards of $1.89/litre for diesel in Canada so where your getting it might just be like down here some states sell it cheaper.

Also really looking forward to seeing how fresh t6, two bottles of rev x, optilube fuel additive, and Vivian's looney fuel and 2012 mirrors all added so recent can not judge the difference yet, to see if this helps my fuel mileage.

I'm not positive but im pretty sure for your calculations you should be using the amount until your truck is full at a fillup against your trip odometer (assuming you reset it at the previous fillup) making tank size totally irrelevant. Thus if a guy had a 400 km transfer flow tank and filled up both his trucks tank and aux tank, he would be able to get the same accuracy in his calculations as a guy with just a 29 gallon tank
