My Dodge does the same this when it's pushin' 35 psi. I need to get the 4 inch downpipe and new exhaust manifold, that should help get the EGT's down and build boost quicker.:thumb:
I'm with you I like the sound of a cummins with a bigger exhaust to...don't get me wrong though I still love the sound of v-8 diesels....if the cummins didn't come wrapped in a dodge body I'd own one.
my buddy's got a common rail, an his pyrometer moves just as fast. at full throttle or going up a hill his egt's are at bout 1000 with his chip on the extreme setting, and about 1150 with it on the stock setting. and he has intake and exhaust
1150 is all?? man these 6.0's run hot then huh??!!! i have hit 1300 to 1400 for a sec just playing around...
