Ambulance package dual alternator help

I have a 2000 F250 with the ambulance package.

I was having charging issues a few weeks ago and it turns out both alternators needed a rebuild, which was done. The way I figured it out was that in the morning, the truck would throw the battery light at first and after a minute or two, it would go out and the voltage would go up to normal. What happened is the top alternator was dead and the bottom wasn't turning on for a minute or two. Both were rebuilt.

Well, with the new alternators, it worked fine at first. I measured a 60 amp draw on the top alternator after starting. After a minute or two, it dropped. This was telling me that the lower alternator was still being delayed.

Now the top alternator is dead again! When I start the truck, the voltage hangs out at just over 12 until 1-2 minutes pass then bumps up to the normal 14.4.

Does anyone have a wiring schematic on the ambulance package charging system? Is the lower alternator suppose to be delayed like that? Any other thoughts on what the hell the problem is?

Thanks,

-Greg
