ok, I was getting on the interstate entrance ramp and I was flooring it and I went through 3rd into OD, and my SES light came on. As I went down the road a little after I had let out of the throttle, the SES light went off. I got home and rade the codes. It pulled 4. They were P0475, P0472, P0603, and P1211. I looked in my Haynes manual and it only told me what code P0603-PCM keep alive memory test eror. The others arent marked in the book. Can anyone shed some light on these code and what they mean? Thanks!!

The first two are exhaust pressure sensor related and the 603 means you have a chip and the 1211 is overboost code. That is the one that made the light come on.

I found this site for the 7.3L while I was looking for the 6.0L. Maybe it can help you.
What site?

I just put a sct max micro programmer on there, and its not going over 16 lbs of boost. I had 16 before I put the programmer on there.I didnt see any change in PSI afterwards. So i dont think that there should be an overboost code. I didnt notice much difference at all with the programmer on there than when it was stock. Are the two pressure sensor codes bad? Do i need to replace something? Because when it came on, the truck was still running good. No defuling or anything, thats another reason i think that it shouldnt have an overboost code.

DTC codes......

ok, I found out what the codes mean.....

P0475- Exhaust pressure control
Causes...valve malfunction Open/grounded ckt., solenoid open/shorted, failed PCM

P0472- Exhaust back pressure sensor circuit low input
Causes... Open/grounded circuit, biased sensor, PCM

P0603- Internal control module KAM error
Causes...Open PCM pin, disconnect B+, faulty PCM

P1211- ICP pressure above/below desired
Cause...IPR valve failed, stuck, or shorted to ground

ok, on the first 3, they all have PCM, or faulty PCM at the end. But, I cannot find any exhaust pressure sensors at auto zone or anything....what do i need to replace? And whats a IPR valve?
