Looked through a few pages and didnt see any discussion of bed caps.

Wednesday I am going to pick up my first diesel and it has a cap on it. I am not to found of the look the cap gives the truck but the functionality seems to balance out the two. I don't see many pictures of the obs with caps on em.
The truck im getting is a regular cab, and has no spare space.

So for people who took em off, do you sometimes wish you still had it, and people with out em do you wish you had one. I figure ill take it off and if i feel it will benefit me to put it on ill just throw it on. Like going on a long road trip with stuff in the bed i don't want to get wet in case of rain just throw it back on.

i thought about pulling mine, but decided needing it and not having it one time isnt worth it.
Also i love how high the rear is, shouldnt have issues putting anything back there

I take mine on and off. Nice for a move or roadtrip but I hate getting stuff out of the front of the bed. In the summer when im working with it pretty rare that I find myself wishing it was on unless its raining. Winter I always seem to find a time where I wish it was off.

The getting stuff out of the front of the bed was my main concern, as far as wanting it off, I was thinking in winter it would be most useful

In winter it's nice not having to shovel snow out when you need to move something that actually fits underneath. With another person I can have it on or off in 10 minutes. It even works leaving my transfer tank in the bed which I can still use with the cap on.

the ones that have teh opening sides are really nice. the only thing i don't like about mine is that i can't see out the passenger side if i'm at an intersection at a angle

This is the only picture I have with a cap on, it is handy to have but 99% of the time I use the hard tonneau cover.

I put this on for road trips and remove it for daily driving. If I kept it on all of the time I'd be carrying around so much junk I'd collapse the springs.
