1 before pic and the rest are after, I also painted the grill and the headlight buckets, the bumpers are tomorrow, but I can't decide, should I just paint it black or rubber undercoating?
thanks, so I decided to paint the front bumper and I used the rubber undercoating on the rear bumper, I figured that I shouldn't use the rubber on the front bumper because of the bugs and whatnot, might be a little hard to keep clean, the rear bumper I think was a smart idea, theroy is when it rains I shouldn't slip off the bumper like I have before so we'll see the next time it rains.
Using a truck for a truck I often find myself stepping on the REAR bumper when its wet from rain... some type of rough traction-aiding coating sounds like a good idea.
As for the cross... reguardless of the reason... its his truck, respect that. People often use a cross as decorations... some times more ornate, but having done some masking/tape work for painting, I can see why it ended up straight lines and basic.
However... from a purely cosmetic standpoint... black on the sides looks good... went a little overboard on the hood... too much black, could have thinned the stripes down a little in my opinion.
