Just to add, dont know about the actual kit for our 7.3s though most people just stick with either the Tymar DIYer', or AFE. My air filtration results are great from oil samples.
however, due to the price NAPA charged me for the Tymar last time I think Im going to try a more permanent solution next time around.
order your tymar, oil filter, and fuel filter all the same time and save a bundle! I saved 75 dollars and haven't had to go to the store for these filters in over a year
I'll look into that, the only issue with the three in one thing is that I use Amsoil for just about everything now.
I usually get my fuel filters from a store that sells the Baldwin replacement, I actually have to go there this Saturday morning as they were closed last week.
I do find myself ordering more and more stuff off the internet more than ever in the past 5-6 months. If I bought fuel filters off the net, I'd never have to step foot into an auto part store.
I run the S&B on my truck, and we run it on my buddies 04.5 CTD truck as well. Very high quality fit/finish, and seems to work well. I was high on their actual statistical and scientific info, using ISO methods. If you wanna go cheap, I'd go TYMAR in a heartbeat. I just had the extra coin, and went with the S&B. I'm very pleased
