So, I picked up the toy hauler to get some pics for October's ROTM and as I was backing it in, I thought I should share some pics... Mind you, I bring this beast home about once a month to do some work on it, wash it, you know... Anyway, only two try's to get her in there just right!:thumb: Oh, and it's usually better, easier and faster if the wife isn't around to "help"...:funny:
Only about a foot between the trailer and the block wall on this side...
This ones a bit closer than you think...
Only about 3 inches between the awning and the eave of the house....
Man, it tows great and I've been very happy with my setup. I went with 13.5" tires when I replaced them and it seemed to help stabilize it a little bit over my stockers. Oh, and the air bags are a necessity. I can't believe I went so long without them... :thumb:
Thanks alot for the comments, guys! I've spent a number of the past several weekends working on my trailer to get it ready for "Dune Season" so I'm just about ready... My neighbor and I have been "pimping" our trailers! :thumb:
I should grab the picture my wife took of ours beside the house... I have 9 feet of usable width to fit the 8 foot plus fifth wheel down the side of the house ... I put it all the way in the back so I can move it away from the wall in order to open it up... If I was at the end of a culdesac or at the end of a three way intersection it would be much different... The truck/trailer barely will get straight from where the house begins to the other side of the street... I do have a cheater however , it's a product called the Loadmaster... You can find them here --> The Fab Shop - LOADMASTER... Worth it's weight in gold...

Ken,
I would love to see those pics... Oh and mine does happen to be at the end of the cul-de-sac and truth be told, I have 13 feet between the house and the wall. Unfortunately the eave of the house sticks out and the wall has an end cap that sticks in reducing it to what you saw in the pictures.
I'm loving that dolly!!! This would make it a snap to move... :thumb: Was it expensive?
Yep. We'll be heading out the weekend of Oct 20th for the first trip of the season... Some die hards have already be going, but that's just nuts! I just recently sold my 03 Predator and bought an 04 Raptor. I've taken the Raptor out a few times on some short rides, but this will be the first dune trip for me on that bike. Should be a little more power...
Thanks, guys! I absolutely love it and love it more each time I mod something else for it. Raul, we can drive out next year to your meet and greet at Pismo... Or you can always drive south to Imperial, which is where we go.:thumb::thumb::thumb:
i will be in glamis that weekend... hopefully with my new 7.3. i run a raptor 700 love it! the best quad ever made by far. oh yeah... for mods check out raptorforum.com
no it was a stock raptor, I put longtravel front end a wide rear axle, and some other goodies. Today I just ordered custom wheels on ebay. Motosport alloys tork wheels in black. Those are gonna be my new dune wheels
