Just out of curiousity...what made you think it was messing with your transmission? I have the same setup but I've been kinda reluctant about tinkering with much more than level three for fear of tearing up a brand new truck. (it's an '06 but I just turned 12k miles last week)
I've got the edge juice w/attitude in my truck. But I've got a stickshift so I dont have to worry about transmission problems. So far its done everything it claims to do. I installed it around 12,000 miles ago. Took it to the track one night and the boost got high (33 PSI) I think and it started defueling. One thing that i was kinda disappointed with is that even set on extreme there isnt a lot of black smoke but it's enought to put you back into the seat.

Not sure if you have the Plat. edition or not, but it has a adjustment for more or less smoke. And trust me I can Blow smoke like a Frieght train. I can get you some pix. I need to get my buddy's to flim some and put them on the ORG...
I have a juice w/ attitude and love it. For an everyday driver you cant beat it. Now if your going to drag all the time I would suggest trying something else but for a good boost in hp and get up I think its fine. I am going to try a SCT Xcal 2 just because 1 of my friends has copied my upgrades and I want to try and find something to put him in his place.
I have a evo 2 and like it so far. I will say I don't like the way it shifts on level 3. It shifts hard and "locks" it in gear, like I'm driving a stick. If you let off of the pedal it drags the motor down like a stick would, so i don't use level 3. I have had good dealings with Edge tech. I bought it used and when I was installing it, it locked up so I called them and told them what happened and they sent me a brand new one. Now it work great and I like the built it gauges.
I have juice w/att. it locks up in 4 and 5 too for me... i DID tear my stock tranny up with it. it didn't slip, it just. one day, BOOM while i was gettin on it. and no more... so i just upgraded my tranny and gave it a triple disc converter and now it shifts great.... the torque converter does stay locked when im decelerating but...... FORD's do that, mine did it bone stock, its just more noticable w/my new tranny i think,.
Well, my story is that I've owned a 98 12valve 3500 Dodge for some 6 or 7 years now. In early June we bought a new 39' toy haulin' 5th wheel ('66 Bronco in the back:thumb. The Dodge just couldn't handle it and I had almost every upgrade known to man in it. I ran across a beautiful 02 crew cab 7.3 with only 56K on the clock. I bought it and in stock form it out pulls the 5.9 that is built.
So here my questions at relate to the thread. A guy I know recommended the Juice/attitude, but after reading this thread I don't think so. I'll be going with the STC, 4" exhaust, and AFE intake system. 6.0Sean, what is this Zoodad that's listed in your signature? Screen??? What about the trannie tuner? How will the STC work with a rig that's mainly a tow vehicle
Thanks for letting me butt in here.
I have the juice w/a on a 7.3, I limped my tranny being a dumba*** but I like it. Once i get my new tranny in I am going to venture into level 5, but i agree with sixliter not enough smoke.
