Ok so I am having a hard time deciding between the new evo or a TS chip with quadzilla recon gauges. I am trying to stay under 600 for gauges and a better chip than the hypermax I have. This **** diesel stuff is getting way addicting. If anyone has any advice on what is the better setup I would really appreciate the help.
I would go with a DP chip instead of a TS. Also, you maybe able to find some analogs for a little cheaper than the Quad. Just something to think about.
You won't find analogs cheaper than the Recon XZT. I can pretty much guarantee that. Maybe cheaper than the Commander but, not the Recon! It is CHEAP and it works flawlessly!
man are the ts tunes that bad, I love my ts, of course its the only chip I have ever had, sounds to me like I am missing out on some good fun, I need to get a dp I guess.
I have run the evo. programer for about 2-years and just recently bought a dp and the difference is pretty noticable not just the power throughout the entire acceleration but the tranny shifts are alot firmer and decisive. And you can change programs on-the-fly. Dp is money well spent! Dennis at ITP was awesome help.
Well since his chip can hold 16 different tunes you can get both settings if you like.
