The message on mine is simply "cleaning exhaust filter". Because it doesn't remain on during the regen cycle I strongly suspect that we are not required to keep driving until the cycle is finished. It's tough to know when it is finished anyway - especially for those driving in the city. Maybe I should read my owners manual - if I still have it???? Maybe if it never got finished cleaning the last couple of times that it tried the message changes to "keep driving to clean exhaust filter"?
I use my Edge monitor to watch the regens. If she is close to a regen while getting close to the house, I drive a little more gingerly to keep the soot numbers down.
Sure it would,I have a 20 minute drive to work,Highway about two thirds of that, soon as i got on the main highway i would Force regen if i had around 300 miles on it since last regen... It would work great!
I know it's possible cause the Dealer can force a regen.
After the main Shake down i will go with deletes anyway....I'll be buying my truck for what it can be! Not for what it is when i drive it off the Lot :~)
