Anyone use this diagnostic software on their PSDs, or any other Ford OBDII capable cars? Opinions?

I could have a lot of use for this, and with the help of a laptop of course.

Here's what I'm talking about;
AutoEnginuity PC Scan Tool (USB)

I got one a few months ago. I haven't really had time to experiment with it very much. I got it with the enhanced Ford package. I played around with it a little bit one day. I know it does basic testing, you can see graphs of several different things, check codes, identify bad sensors, injector buzz testing, and probably a whole lot more, I'm sure. I had been suspecting a bad rear wheel speed sensor, and sure enough, the analyzer confirmed it. If you really have some time to play with it, you might be surprised at what all it's capable of. I believe it is probably a fantastic tool.

Cool you and Marty are going to have to give us the skinny on it:thumb:

You will really like it! I use it all the time and it is great!

Except for "checking" I hope you'll never need it!!!!!
It does have some pretty neat parameters though.
BTW - I got one too. For the Ford and the Jeep.
I have a feeling I'm gonna need it for the Jeep, it's kinda high tech.
No problems yet, but it seems Murphy's got it in for me!

LOL @ murphy having it in for you.

Dave... looks like I'm going to need it real soon. I've replaced 2 sensors on the tranny after OBD11 scanners picked up the 0720 code with continued SES light. I've been told that the OBD11 scanners can't pickup most of the tranny codes so when you get it I'll come to you!

Dennis is going to see what he can do to get it here by Sept 8th, he only has one on stock and hasn't looked at the orders yet, and he can get them to ship from the manufacturer if need be but I'll keep you posted.

Is that on a CD? Wonder if we can 'share' the disk and I could just order additional cable for it. I'll hit you up w/ a few bucks to help offset the cost Dave! (Wonder how much those cables are???) Hmmmm.........

I've tried using the SCT to log info during the 1/4 mile times but I couldn't figure it out. I even went to the SCT forums.

I have a labtop - just bring the AE it'll be a GREAT addition to our little club we've got going on here...

is this the same type the dealers use to see if your trucks been chipped or not?

Yeh I'm in Virginia - sprung an oil leak the night i was supposed to drive down. Fixed that and some bad battery connections and all is almost well. I was on an on ramp and everything maxed out, clicked and the truck shut off. It restarted right back up and it's been fine since then. I'm assuming either the code is screwing it up, the batt cables came loose again or something like that. It's been acting up a bit lately. Hopefully we'll get her figured out. LOL YOU'll probably end up at my house laaaaate at night friday LOL.
