I am looking at a 2003 6.0 f250. It has a 8in lift and 37in tires. I know the 6.0 had head gasket issues but it has an egr delete and arp headstuds installed. It has 125xx on the odometer. Will this be a reliable truck? What other issues are common? and how expensive are they?

My truck is fine but my mileage sux. My right foot ignores any attempts at discipline.
I try so hard. When I fill up, I always TRY to commit to watching my right foot to measure. Usually I see a truck or Mustang buddy at the station I fill up at. Needless to say, the 6.0 gets to leave the station at WOT! :thumb:

I am driving a 1000 mile round trip this weekend. I WILL Stay out of it for at least 1 tank!

Yea buy a 6.0! Your tuner with custom tunes from a good tuner will dictate your power. Exhaust will help your ears and really lower EGTs! Intake - It will do nothing for ya! :wink[3]:

Get an SCT 3 for the actual tuner. As far as the human who builds the tunes. I think we have someone here who can be found in the vendors section. I used John Lund but he is not on this web site as a sponsor. Again, I would look at our sponsors!
