replaced my ficm the other day and was thinkin i lost an injector due to mine pretty much going completely out. called my local tech and he told me to check the plug-ins to make sure they were in all the way. got to lookin, and apparently i broke the clips on one taking it out. pushed it in as far as i could and it ran wonderfully. drove for a few miles, and started actin up again. got home, pushed it back in, and could immediately hear the difference. does anybody know what the plug-in cost? its the very back one, closest to the firewall. going to the dealer tomorrow to see if they have one. or is there somewhere online to find one, and what is its technical name? thanks.

I've purchased many electrical parts, connectors at Digikey.com. Really helpfull people and if they don't have it, well, you know the rest. If it's like the connector on a chevy computer, well, have fun. Be sure not to get a wire in the wrong spot, it's you know what trying to figure it out.

you sir need a ficm harness. i don't have the part number here but it's written down at work if you need it. (****ing hard as hell to pick out from the diagram)

for the time being if you can get a couple cable ties joined together, wrap them around the whole ficm and connector, that should keep the plug in. the harness is very easy to change, don't ask how i know

whatever you do don't break the FIRST connector :hehe:

I was about to say the same thing. I had to replace mine, and it is real easy.

I would suggest, to the OP, you start looking around the org for anybody parting a 6.0 out. I bought my harness from a member here for pretty damn cheap.

Just the eight injector connectors, the one main FICM ground to the very rear intake manifold stud on the driver side and the main FICM connectors and you're done.
