So my question is what does the 6.0 use for connecting rods? Are they forged or are they PMR's also? I guess my real question is why is the PMR's of a 7.3 only good for 400 rwhp and the 6.0 if they have PMR's don't have the hp issue?
Yes the sicks-oh have PMR's the limit has been reached by Unbroken who finally broke. But he was around 650-700. I dont know why the 6 oh PMR can handle more power than the 7.3. Maybe its all the pressure the head gaskets and head bolts let pass.:funny:oke Maybe because the rods are shorter and are stronger since there is less leverage. Might have something to do with cylinder pressures being less than the 7.3. This are just uneducated guesses though.
Shape, size, cylinder pressures, cam, revs, timing, etc is all different in a 6.0. Additionally, the 7.3 makes more TQ then a 6.0 @ the same hp!
This seems to be what I recall from my readings!
