thanks. I went ahead and posted one titled 99PSD engine problems. Basically I bought a 99 PSD with 175000 on it. the air filter and fuel filter where both black as charcoal, so I replaced those, changed the oil, flushed the tranny, and diffs. When I went to drive it after replacing the fuel filter got about 3 miles down the road and it died on me. Got it going again long enough to get it into a parking lot and get it towed back home. Thought I may have just been either sucking air or didnt perge enough, so I re sat the o ring and tighten it back up, let the canister fill back up and perged again to make sure it was all out. Sat over night and cranked right up the next day and ran fine. Then the next day would be driving down the road and it would just shutoff, still would have full power (battery wise) but nothing from the engine. After two hours and about thirty restarts later got bak to the house. now it I can sometimes let it sit ideling for 30 minutes without it shutting off and then sometimes it will shut off right away or not start at all. whenever I it shuts off I can hear fuel being pushed into the canister, I also have checked the high pressure oil reserve and it always has oil in it about 1/2 inch from the threads. Picking up no codes. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
