I have pictures but my batteries just died so ill post later, but for now just to the left of the transmission hump is a group of wires hanging down and they come together in a female connector of some kind. The connector is grey and fairly large 1.5" or so wide and about an inch thick. Anyone know what this could be and should it be hooked to something. I cant find any male connectors under the dash. Thanks
That's what I would have guessed, too. It doesn't look like there are a large number of wires feeding it-at least not as many as there are connections.
I don't get any chime at all now. seat belts, door or lights. It was easy to find. I just follwed the noise. Unplugged it, and have yet to notice anything but silence.
that must be what is is because my truck doesnt chime at all either (not that im complaining)
