Motor runs bad / battery symbol flashing shortly before start

Hello again,

I still have a problem with my motor (6.0 Liter Diesel).
It doesnt run like it should. It seems like it runs on 7 cylinders.
The battery symbol flashs for about 1.5 sec when I turn the key to the start position before I start.

I cleaned the EGR Valve and I disconnect the alternator because someone said the alternator could be the problem.

Nothing happened. The only thing the battery symbol did not come on during the time the alternator was disconnected.
I tried to read trouble codes with an AUTOTAP Scanner (enhanced Ford version) but did not find any trouble code.

Does anyone has an idea what I can do? I am over in Germany and we dont have dealerships for that type of truck.

Thanks for your help! I appreciate any response!!!

Hang in there... I'm sure one of the techies will be along sometime today to help you troubleshoot. Its only about 5:30am over here, so I'm sure they're all snugged up in bed.

It takes X number of volts to make your injector spool valves operate. If your system voltage is extremely low then the FICM? can't generate enough voltage to operate them properly. Have your charging system checked (Autozone does it for free) and proceed from there.
