It looks like the converter was locked up on that run. Keeps her nice and clean when it locks! The other runs they may have done at a lower speed, and unlocked converter, much smokier and less power!
I was referring to top end towards the end of the run it stayed clean. Most of the big tunes you see will start really smoking because the trucks are running out of air higher up in the RPM's. :thumb:
The highest numbers I got to was 591hp but I think it has more cuz the trans didnt even make it a week after that. It was slipping pretty bad on dyno. As soon as I get a trans in it Im going to dyno it before I mod anything else.
Heres with the stock turbos and Nos. Wish I had the fuel only run video it smoked like the end of the nos vid does but all the way thru and it made 597hp. YouTube - 6.4 Powerstroke Dyno Run 782HP
I can hit 1730 on a hard run and have held it there for a while(125MPH)These 6.4's can handle ALOT of heat. H&S has held 1900 and have not seen any damage. Remember their truck has 11"s of lift and 40's. I would not recommend doing this very often though. This was with the HOT DAMN tune also. The chit my pants tune Bentley sent me was no hotter than the HOT DAMN but had alot more balls!
I see 1700-1800 in the 1/4 mile. I try not to let me EGT's get to hot to often, and I never maintain high EGT's. The race track and sled pull track are where it gets affected the most, but you can definitely hit high EGT's on the street to.
