Lifting a 1996 crew cab

I want to lift my 1996 f350 crew cab 4 or 6 inches any suggestions on which route to take.

I would suggest a shackle reversal kit for the front. ORU (Off Road Unlimited) makes one or if you know a good suspension/welder guy that'd be the way to go. That will give you about 2-2.5 inches in the front. You could run 35/12.50's with very little or no rubbing depending on how worn the stock springs are. Step it up to a set of 4 inch Skyjacker softrides and you'll have 6-6.5 inches of lift roughly. This is what I have and I think its great. Rides the best compared to others i've riddin in. And I ran 37/12.50's with no rubbing. I have 37/13.50's now and it will rub a little in full turns only (hitting bumps with speed). 36's should clear no problem. Definitely go for the full springs for the rear NO BLOCKS! Especially if you have bumped up the HP's. I have blocks in the rear right now and that will change in the future. Axle wrap can be nasty.
