just picked this beauty up today for 3K gotta love Craigslist! Now i need to get a better drop hitch. any suggestions as to wich one? i will need about 11-12 inch drop. I know that it will be expensive but i am not putting this trailer on my cheap Harbor Freight drop hitch.

I have pulled some stupid loads with that same Harbor freight hitch and it actually is pretty tough

Would you feel safe towing 7K with this hitch?
sounds like you got a really good deal on that trailer!
I believe i did, I have been looking at trailers her in VA for about a month and then i saw this one for 3K  emailed him and said i would give him cash tonight! haha he dropped the trailer off today :)
Shes purty. I noticed it has 5 hole wheels, does it have 2 3500lb axles under it?
yeah, they are 3500lb each, with the dexter axles? don't know to much about them but i do know the last trailer i hauled had them and it was a smooth ride.

You stole that trailer, figuratively speaking.... :thumb:

I've got a 16 x 7 with twin 3500# axles I gave $2800 for a few years back. It was only a year and a half old at the time I bought it, but yours looks just as new as mine did back then. Nice score!!!

Hell of a deal you got. And what's even better is the girlfriend was looking at trailers for you. I had a friend that needed a 12" drop hitch, he ended up just fabbing one up himself to the specific dimensions and weight needed.
