Im curious if anyone has one? They say its weather resistant but I have a keen feeling that when it gets wet it will mildew like crazy... any input would be great?

My truck has one. It was in it when I got it. It also has a bed cover, so really it isn't exposed to Everything.

I did take the cover off a couple of times to haul an ATV. During the week trip we drove through almost every kind of weather going thru Colorado. I thought it would be ruined too or trap water, but after spraying it off and looking around. I think Everything's Fine.

I found this info on their site: Bed Rug Features

BedRug photos

If you look at the pictures, you can see it is Lined Underneath and all panels Attach to Each Other so it is not just pieces of carpet, it is a Bed Liner.

I like it!

my only concern... is the place that installs them around here just did one on my friends F150... while it looks good... seems on the sides they didnt use the WHOLE double sided tape... they did stripes... so it looks textured and looks to allow water under it now... I suppose I could ask for them to not nazi my tape and use the whole thing instead of half assing it... but they dont need to skuff the bed up... and since my bed is unscratched I shoudlnt have to worry about rusting correct?

If it is installed correctly you should have no issues with water getting under the bedrug. The only potential place that this could happen is at the tailgate where the rug mounts vertically to the bed. The rest of the bedrug should be mounted UNDER the bedrails preventing water from getting inside.

It is such an easy install I would just do it yourself. Park it out in the sun to let the bed warm up so that you get could adhesion from the 3M hook/loop. Use alcohol to wipe down everything in the bed or you can just wipe where the 3M is going to go. Pre install all the hook/loop on the back of the bedrug. Put it in place and start peeling/sticking.

There should be no water instrusion issues and no worries about the rust.

i had one on my last truck and didn't have any issues. I had a cover over it about half the time. I would take mine off and get lazy and not put it back on for months...Never had an issue with any mildew or anything. When it got dirty, i hosed it out and it looked good as new.
