Anyone been able to put subs in their ex-cab. I am thinking maybe under the back seat? I'd prefer not to have to do any cutting to make them fit... Any ideas?

Mtx makes a box to fit under the rear seat with 2 10s. Its a little expensive though. I just took the longer of the rear seats out and replaced it with a custom built box and one 12.

2 JL 10 w1 in a shallow 1.1 Cu. Ft Box behind the rear seat is all you should ever want.

I was skeptical until i bit the bullet, but it hits hard, is clean and the seat remains completely functional.

I run a $110.00 Kenwood KAC-7204 off eBay and it Rocks!

I made a custom box that fits 3 8's that goes under the rear seat. That way I can stiil use the seats if necessary.

I used 3/4" plwood, if you used 1/2" MDF, you should be able to squeeze in 10's using the same outside dimensions as the one I made.

I have a crew cab and removed the center console completely. I have 2-Earthquake SWS 12's firing to the floor. People hear me coming from a distant. The box is maybe 1/2" higher than the center console. Yes I lost some storage and a few cup holders..........but I love the way it sounds!!!!

Bump for u guys. I had my 2 ten rockford fosgate speakers in my 03 extended cab, but it stuck way out past the rear seat. I also put blocks underneath the bench to raise it up

I have 3 of them in the box, so it's pretty good. Not ground rattling or anything (i'm getting too old for that), but it does a nice job. I wired it to my upfitters so I can turn them off when the wife's in the truck.
