Upfitter switch installation?

O.K., I followed the instructions that came with the Ford Upfitter Switch Kit - everything is self explanatory except where the socket is to plug the kit harness into. The diagrams and pictures seem very simple but after looking, digging, twisting my 60 year old body into positions that it shouldn't be able to get into and even using a mirror for two hours, I couldn't find that F'n plug socket!

I've gotten one reply on another forum but would like some more tips if I can get them... anybody done this that can shed some light? Thanks in advance! :thumb:

I just got done pulling them out of my buddies truck about 30 mins ago. The plug is white/gray (hard to tell with out a lot of light) and is located above the accelerator pedal. It is a pain to get to for sure.

Just finished this install. Plugging into the main harness is definitely dificult. I did it by lying on my back directly under the plug and reached both arms up into the top of the dash. With my right hand/fingers I pulled the main harness plug as close as I could; there was very little slack though, I got it aimed downward as best as possible and pinned it in that positon with my fingers. This then allowed my left hand to guide the plug up and in. I had pulled most of the center dash out to try and access the main plug but this did not provide any help in reaching the main harness plug. Hope this helps.
