Dummy plugs changed, still hard to start when warm

2005 4x4 with 143,000 miles. Changed the STC fitting out in November of 2009 with the one piece fitting. The factory fitting came apart and in the process cracked the replaceable plate on the back of the block. Fixed all of that but did not replace the dummy plugs at the time.

December 2009, I ran the truck low but not out of diesel but i ruined injector #6 on the drivers side. I decided to replace the injector and do a egr Sinister kit delete/bypass. All went well and truck seemed to run fine.

Febuary 2010- One day running arounds making variuos stops the truck decided to take longer cranking than usual, finnally refusing to start when warm. It will always start cold. I spent about 5 hours changing out the dummy plugs and it will start warm but requires quite a bit of cranking. The dummy plugs did not look bad but not perfect either.

I have run out of things to look at and need to take the truck somewhere. What is left to figure this out? I changed the dummy plugs just to eliminate those from the problem. I am not seeing any codes on my programmer. This is frustrating though!!

Have you actually monitored live data while the engine is warm, to see what you are missing?

m-chan68- That is on the list for tommorow (live data)
Banshee- I did the tubes the other day when i did the dummy plugs since that did not get done with the stc fitting.

I am starting to learn more about this truck than i ever intended.
