I just bought a 2000 f250 7.3. i found the original window sticker in the glove box it said one of the options was the California emissions system. I'm not really sure what it does but i am sure i want it off my truck. If anyone knows any thing about it and how or if i can remove it id appreciate the help thanks.

It may or may not have a cat. But it does have a GPCM instead of a GPR.

Some of the auto cali trucks had cats too

the module is a silver box that sits on the top passenger side of the engine and there is a plug that goes into it.. the relay is a brown and round and has the wires attached to the top of it.

Edit on mine it has one relay with the Module. the non cali editions have two relays not sure what the other relay is for but its there.
