Center Links Keep Wearing Out?

Guys,

I've had the truck lifted for close to 100k miles now, and it goes through center links (see below - #4) about every 15-20k miles.

Is this just to be expected with a lifted Super Duty, or is there something else I should be looking at? The truck does have a drop pitman arm to match the lift, and a single shock steering stabilizer.

About every 15-20k miles the steering will get really sloppy and the ball joint in the end of the center link is visibly wobbly when having a friend move the steering wheel back and forth while looking under the truck.

A new center link always fixes the sloppyness, although the steering has never been very tight since lifting it. I've tried tightening up the steering box some, but it doesn't really noticeably affect it.

Truck has relatively new balljoints up front, so I know all that is good. I also grease all the joints every 5-10k miles.

Relative details: 2000 F250, 6" Superlift, 17x9 MotoMetal 951's, 37x12.50x17 ProComp eXtreme A/T's

Any thoughts?
