I have an '08 F250 XLT that came standard with the three know control unit. I would like to change the unit out for the lariat's digital control. Anyone done this? Is it plug and play?
Would I need an adapter harness, or replace the complete dash harness? If i have to get a pigtail or additional harness to make it work with the current control's harness, i will consider that. I have not found anywhere where I can see a breakdown of the harnesses or parts like the steering whell or dash. Fords parts site have very limited diagrams unlike the dealers service department. Where did you go to find your info? Thanks!
just Google the process. there is no harness. You need to replace almost everything under the dash. the electronic one plugs in, your stocker has no electronics. It has hardlines.
