Hydralic pressure is very difficult to explain with out graphs. The spring between the boost valve and pressure regulator controls minimum line pressure. The boost valve puts more pressure against the pr valve makeing the line pressure go up when the computer commands it. The springs in the valve body are actually accumulator springs, kinda like shocks. Raise line pressure, drill feed holes bigger, add extra springs to the accumulator valves and you can get some damageing shifts. I can tell you when I feel a perfect shift, but I can't explain it. Almost failed english in high school. bg
