When I use the phone though the truck, I have to turn the stereo volume all the way up for it to be usable. Is there anyway to set the phone volume to automatically be as high as the stereo volumn? The volumn of the cell phone is set to maximum.
my dad jsut got a new 450 and its the same way, part of the time you cant hardly hear it, I was going to put sync on my 08 but after his isnt loud enough I dont think Im gonna mess with it.
Yeah I have to turn my volume up all the way too, figured there would be a way to turn it up but guess not. I still really like having the sync in the truck.
I had the same problem using my Samsung phone with Sync. Tried every trick out there, nothing worked. Now I have an LG phone and its way better. I think it has something to do with bluetooth volume from the phone. Some phones have adjustable bluetooth volume. You might find some help on Official Ford SYNC Site - Voice Activated Calling, Navigation, & Music | FordVehicles.com On a side note, the sync voice on my wifes 09 Escape is so loud it scares the crap out of me every time.
Thanks for all the replies. My wife has a Samsung and I have the iPhone and both have very low volumns so I'm assuming the problem is with the sync.
We have plenty of volumn when we turn the volumn knob all the way up so it is still a neat feature. It is just a PIA to have to turn the knob up and down.
