Well, my early 99 has always marked its territory (its doesn't leak oil! :thumb. Since i've got it with 135k (165k now) on it, its always left just a little spot of oil behind, so i've changed all the high pressure oil line o-rings, and it will stop for maybe a week? But after that it goes right back to leaking again, and will get progressively worse until i changed the o-ring again and it will be hard and blown to pieces just like the last. Ive already changed it 4 times. Its the one closest to the cab on the pump that keeps leaking. I always use the locktite and international o-rings from ford. (you know the ridiculously priced pack of 3 o-rings and locktite for 33 bucks) The only thing i don't do when i changed them is use the tool and take the line off. I can get just a open end wrench on it and take it off, clean it and put it back every time just fine. Or so i think.
Any thoughts on why i keep blowing this stupid o-ring? I run heavy equipment and have access to those expensive CAT or Komatsu Teflon o-rings and thought about using those next time to see if they lasted longer.
I don't have much done, i'm running a edge juice with attitude, air-raid intake box, the little boost tube thing from purediesel, and the boost fooler. 4in turbo back to 5in stacks. And im pulling 46s but with 5.13 gears.
