I am between a rock and a hard place. I like Banks because they have been around the longest but I feel like you pay for the name not the product. And I like SCT because of the changes to the trans and the hp but they are a fairly small company compared to Banks. I know that there is going to be pros and cons on every tuner, but just wanted others opinions. Thanks.

welcome aboard

banks is good stuff and super safe, but the price is rediculous you really are paying for all those fancy 2 page ads

if you want all you can get out of a 6.0 sct is the only way to go

we have a few sct tuners here at the site that can set you up with anykind of tuning you wish for on the sct

what part of LA are you from?

Well.. I don't have a 6.0.. so I really can't offer any imput on the tuner question... but I can say:

Yea innovative in on The Diesel Stop. I've never heard of the other. But if you had to make a choice whitch would you choose. I am visiting Cal. till July so I wish somebody around here did custom tunes so I could work out the problems before I leave. If you know of anybody let me know.

man its hard to say as far whos betterin tuning cause they are both so close. and fast as hell

you can have the custom tunning done from anywhere in the world

(just incase you dont know)
when you get yur xcal2 in the mail, you plug it up to yur truck and get yur strategy out of the computer, send that number to the tuner, they will custom write a tune for YOUR truck and email it to you , upload that into yur xcal and load it in yur rig, and if its not right email em and they will correct it, adjust it, tweak it to yur liking, that how DJ's does it i know

I was going to get Banks stuff until I joined this website. Which they changed my mind when I saw what the SCT can do vs. the six guns. This is what my tunes from innovative did for my truck, keep in mind this is only SCT, mbrp striaght pipe, and stock intake

so all you have is a custom SCT tune and an exhuast and your turning down 836-908torque at the wheels? wtf thats crazy

i know this is probably a no, but can the SCT tune work with the Edge A2 kit?

IMO banks is way over priced crap, If any of you get petersons 4 wheel and off road read this months issue and gale banks opinion on ulsd it basically states the exact opposite of everything all of us have been saying about it

He claims horsepower gains with it over the old LSD but then it also says he is tuning specifically for it now
