It's nothing, just means it didn't do a complete check up. Just drive the truck more and check it again, it should go away. Usually happens after a battery replacement or a battery dies or something of that nature.

I get this code every single time I read codes in my gf's Ford Escape.

Nothing to worry about at all.

Will it reset if the EGR is gone or ignored in a tune? My truck has it as well. Ever since I did the EGR cooler delete and EGR delete.

If you had the batteries disconnected it will go away after driving a bit. It's just a learning cycle for the computer. Nothing to worry about.

Haven't had the batteries disconnected since April, '11. That is when the cooler delete was done along with the oil cooler. I then had to get a tuner so the CEL would stay out. The P1000 has been there since.
