Hi Everyone,

I recently installed a set of autometer Zs with the 2259 tranny temp sender. My AutoEnginuity monitoring tells me my trans temp is between 120-130, my autometer gauge tells me 200-220....

who do i believe?
what could be the problem?
anyone know where the autoenginuity trans temp reading is picking up from?

Bad Gauge sender or bad ground...

Factory sender is in the Valve body...

The sending unit can only go in one place for "true" trans temp reading

the valve body

My AE (OBDII port) consistantly reads 25-30 degrees warmer than the Gauge (test port). Yours are the same?
