i want to get a spray in bedliner but one problem, i have some pretty noticiable dents in the bed. i called the guy from line-x and he said that you pretty much have to sand and bondo if you want it to look perfect.. anyone come across this issue?

i have a plastic bed liner, but a spray in will prevent rust and is really really durable.. i might just get it done and then put down one of those precut rubber bed mats..:dunno:

The bed of my truck was in pretty rough shape when I got. Full of dents and rust spots. I cleaned up the rust spots and didn't worry about the dents, then had it Rhino Lined. Looks like brand new. The dents just give the bed character... Oh and the smaller dent's/gouges just got smoothed out when it got sprayed, can only see the bigger dent impressions now...

its not that hard to pull the bed of of your truck, you'll need 3 friends to help.the torx head bolts can be tricky, i take an air hammer with a hammer type bit and burp the bolts before i even try hitting them with the impact gun.once the rear bumper is removed and the bed bolts removed disconnect the wiring at the rear and the fuel filler neck.lay out some heavy blankets or cardboard then when the bed is off the truck set the front of the bed down of the padding and tilt the bed upright the getting on the other side lay it upside down.use a good 2x4 and a heavy hammer to pound out the dents from the bottom.
