i was wondering if anybody has built there own stacks, i built my privious stack my self from stuff of my uncle's peterbuilt. i want to know where th buy 5" short radious 90 degree elbows at.
i bought all my parts from a heavy duty truck parts place near me. after it was all said and done i think it would of been cheaper to just buy a kit and be done with it
I bought a complete kit that had been used but everything was in great shape still. After I installed them a buddy wanted stacks, but was a little short on cash so he bought the T pipe, Elbows, little bit of pipe and the chrome stacks and we built his own. It turned about good, but after all was said and done he didn't save a whole lot.
I live really close to that place where the did the show trick my truck on cmt the place is called chrome shop Mafia u can get stacks for like 35 bucks and reducers and 90s for around 40 bucks
Yea they chrome they are like factory blemished ones but i wouldn't hesitate to put them on just minor scratchs and scuffs 6 inch are a little higher but my fiend got a 7 foot or so long one that we cut in half for under 100 it was five inch tho how long would u need
I made mine myself, got dual 5" turnouts from work, i was real happy with the final price all around, i paid about 32 bucks for mine, my cost. including the downpipe i had about 600 in the whole job. unfortunately, after a year and a half, my chrome is flaking. going to some black mbrp mitres. honest though, to get you started 30-40 bucks ain't bad, you can still get some miles on em!
i got the rest of my pipes from standard parts and all the clamps came from the volvo truck shop
I looked and I can get 5 inch around 5 foot tall for 25 bucks apiece and 6 inch are a little more round 125 or so
